Titled "Disco 2000", this project's form largely serves as a playful excercise in scale and grid forms as a way to increase physical size.
Beneath the form of the work lie broader themes of rebirth fueled by personal challenges the artist struggled with throughout the stages of creation. Denial-ridden battles of isolation and encumbrance.
All physical traces of the work have been deliberately destroyed as a means to signal the end of a metamorphosis. The renouncement of the artist as a burden to their family.
